their blogs (only one comment per blog per day please). The more blogs you visit each day… the better chance you will have to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate!!!
Every
day (Monday, September 29th – Wednesday, October 1st) one of the blogs
will be chosen randomly and a winner will be selected from comments on
that blog at 10pm CT. The winner will be announced the following day
along with the participating blogs for that day Two
prizes will be awarded on the last day of the hop. One will be for
Wednesday’s comments and another will be chosen from all the comments
left throughout the week.
So….if
you miss a day or time deadline your comments will still count for a
chance to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate!
Both Wednesday winners will be announced on the IO Blog on Friday.

All of the new dies you'll be seeing on the hop are available NOW!
Today I want to talk about using the new cutout dies. Usually when you cut out a die (especially an intricate one), you often have to figure out how you are going to adhere it to a card. With the Impression Obsession cut out dies, you use the negative space of the die. Here is a close up to see what I mean:
To make this card, I took a piece of red paper and taped the Christmas tree die to it. When I ran it through the die cut machine, it left a hole in the paper in the shape of a tree with decorative garlands. To color the tree, I put a piece of green paper behind the tree and a piece of gold cardstock behind the star. Very, very quick and easy!
For the top of the red paper, I taped my sayining to it at an angle so that it would cut out my message on the diagonal. To finish the card, I added some rhinestones.
Here are the dies I used:
Be sure to visit all the other designers for more inspiration and a chance to win prizes!
